Grass for padel

VISA SPORTS offers two kinds of grass for padel: fibrillate and single filament. Both are state-of-the-art models designed for players to be safer, more comfortable and to minimise the risk of injury.

They are available in several colours to enhance the ball visibility in different surroundings: striking blue, terracotta red or classical green.

UVA PROTECTIVE TREATMENT

Much of this sport’s popularity is based on how easy it is to play and the chance to enjoy a pleasant time in the open air. This is why the padel artificial grass must be specifically treated to withstand abrasion and UVA rays, which is of vital importance if the court is outdoor.

MINIMISING THE IMPACT, ABRASION AND RISK OF INJURY

The nature of this sport means that the playing surface must minimise the impact and abrasion caused by the movements and play an important role in reducing the risk of injury.

STABLE SURFACE AND COMFORTABLE FOR PLAYERS

Padel is an intense sport in which short movements are particularly important. The small size of the court means that movements must be fast and effective, so the surface must be stable and comfortable to avoid falling and injury.

EASY TO CLEAN AND MAINTAIN AFTER GAMES

Due to the popularity that padel has gained in recent years, it is more and more difficult to find an empty court. If they are not being used for amateur games, they are used as a centre for tournaments or private classes. Therefore, the artificial grass (which is the part that receives most wear on a padel court) must be easy to clean and maintain to ensure that its useful life is as long as possible.

NATURAL AND PREDICTABLE BALL BOUNCE

One of the most amusing aspects of this sport is the chance to return the ball after it has bounced off the glass/wall or fence, so it is vital that the grass should give a natural and predictable bounce so the sport does not lose its essence.
If the ball bounces strangely, we prefer it to be through the skill of our arrival and not a problem on the court; this is how we like to play and so we strive to ensure this in our courts.

Two-component PU adhesive for joining roles of artificial grass

Two-component polyurethane-based adhesive to apply in the seaming tape for a strong and discreet connection between the rolls of artificial grass. It hardens rapidly and is very adherent.

Staples

To assure the connection between two rolls

Staples 150 mm long, used to assure the connection between two rolls if we want to strengthen the effect of the seaming tape with the adhesive. They are also used to pin down the perimeter of the grass and to make the installation even stronger. They come in bags of 50 staples.
